Stainless steel magnetic bar/tube Industry knowledge

Can stainless steel magnetic bars/tubes effectively remove tiny ferromagnetic impurities?
Stainless steel magnetic bars/tubes have shown remarkable results in removing tiny ferromagnetic impurities. These magnetic bars/tubes are usually made of high-magnetic permanent magnetic materials, such as high-performance NdFeB permanent magnetic materials, which have a magnetic force 5 to 20 times higher than that of similar conventional magnetic materials (such as ferrite or AlNiCo permanent magnetic materials). Specifically, when liquid or solid materials containing ferromagnetic impurities pass through stainless steel magnetic bars/tubes, these tiny ferromagnetic impurities will be strongly attracted by the magnetic bars and firmly adsorbed on the surface of the magnetic bars or sleeves. This process can effectively remove ferrous impurities in the material, ensuring the purity of the material and the smooth progress of the next process.
Stainless steel magnetic bars/tubes have many advantages, such as strong magnetic force, good iron removal effect, and convenient cleaning of iron filings. Its surface magnetic height can reach 10000GS to 12000GS, and it can remove tiny particles that are invisible to the naked eye from 0.5 to 60μm. In addition, the surface finish of magnetic bars/tubes can meet food grade requirements, so they are widely used in pigments, dyes, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, plastics and other industries.
In practical applications, stainless steel magnetic rods/tubes can be used not only for iron removal in the process of liquid slurry transportation, but also for iron removal of solid materials. Its high efficiency, convenience and durability make stainless steel magnetic rods/tubes an important tool for removing tiny ferromagnetic impurities.

How to connect the stainless steel magnetic rod/tube to the magnetic filter?
The connection method of stainless steel magnetic rod/tube and magnetic filter mainly depends on the design of the filter and the specific application requirements. The following are several common connection methods:
1. Flange connection:
Choose flange specifications that match the magnetic filter and pipeline.
Ensure that the flange sealing surface is flat, smooth, without damage and burrs.
Connect the flanges at both ends of the stainless steel magnetic rod/tube with the flanges at both ends of the magnetic filter and the pipeline with bolts, nuts, gaskets and other fasteners to achieve a sealed connection.
2. Clamp connection:
Applicable to some smaller diameter pipelines and magnetic filters.
Choose the appropriate clamp specifications to ensure that the clamp can be tightly wrapped around the pipeline and magnetic filter.
Divide the clamp into two halves, put them on the connection parts of the pipeline and the magnetic filter respectively, and then use bolts, nuts and other fasteners to fix the two halves of the clamp together to achieve the connection.
3. Threaded connection:
Applicable to some smaller pipelines and magnetic filters.
Process the corresponding threads at the connection parts of the magnetic filter and the pipeline, and then match the threads at both ends of the stainless steel magnetic rod/tube with the threads of the magnetic filter and the pipeline.
Use thread sealant or sealing tape to ensure the sealing of the connection.
During the connection process, the following points should be noted:
Gap and filling: Make sure there is a certain gap between the stainless steel magnetic rod/tube and the magnetic filter and pipeline, and use appropriate materials such as gaskets to fill it to ensure the stability and sealing of the connection.
Connection direction: According to the design of the magnetic filter, ensure that the installation direction of the stainless steel magnetic rod/tube is consistent with the flow direction of the medium to ensure the filtering effect.
Material matching: Make sure that the material of the connector matches the material of the stainless steel magnetic rod/tube and the magnetic filter to avoid corrosion or damage caused by material incompatibility.
